Michelle Cherry has been licensed in real estate since 2000 and became a broker in 2006. From the beginning, she was recognized continuously for her achievements as a top agent in the companies she worked with. In 2005, Michelle became a partner with an international real estate franchise company and helped to build up two offices in the Austin area before leaving the partnership to venture out on her own in 2007. Michelle was a nominee for the “Top 25 Realtors” in the Austin Business Journal twice and selected by her clients for the “Five Star Service Group Award” in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and announced in the Texas Monthly Magazines both years. She has also achieved her “Council of Residential Specialist” designation, the highest credential in real estate awarded to only 3% of realtors.
Working off a primary sell by referral basis Michelle has sold homes all over Austin and surrounding areas: Austin, Central Austin, Lakeway, Bee Caves, Dripping Springs, Pflugerville, Manor, Cedar Park, Leander, Bastrop, Cedar Creek.
Her business and ethics have grown alongside her life, taking a step back to raise her children, she is back with more determination than before. Michelle is married to Gary and together they have two girls, ages eight and five plus two labrador retrievers, Snowman and Goose. When she isn’t working hard to find the perfect buyer for a property she loves to exercise out doors, camp, attend music festivals, watch movies, and help with local charities. She spends time volunteering at her daughters’ school, Magellan International School, where she served as Fundraising Chair for two years, co-chaired the school’s Galas for two years, chaired the school’s opening musical fundraisers and more.
For Michelle the motto is honesty and integrity. She treats her clients with the upmost respect, never wanting to have an unhappy client or one who walks away feeling like she didn’t do enough for them. “I take each and every transaction and treat it like it was my personal home.” With a loving hand and motherly outlook she plans to continue growing and learning the ins and outs of Austin real estate while leaving her mark on every home she touches.
